Vantage Eye Center has experienced steady practice growth over the last 30 years and has an amazing opportunity for a BC/BE fellowship trained glaucoma surgeon to join our elite multispecialty ophthalmology and optometry practice.  The team includes 12 surgeons, 5 optometrists, & dedicated technicians, scribes, and front office staff that treat a wide variety of eye disease including corneal disorders, diabetic eye diseases, cataracts, retina, oculoplastics, refractive, and glaucoma.  We have over 50,000 patient visits and over 5,000 major surgical procedures each year; the call schedule is light at approximately 6 weeks per year.

The Vanderbilt Eye Institute of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the greatly expanding metropolitan region of Nashville, Tennessee is actively seeking a glaucoma specialist to join our faculty, which currently includes six fellowship-trained glaucoma specialists, an active glaucoma fellowship program, and ophthalmology residency. The Vanderbilt Eye Institute is a multi-specialty academic ophthalmology practice with 72 clinical and research faculty members, state of the art facilities and equipment and multiple satellite offices to serve an annual patient volume in excess of 168,000. We seek glaucoma faculty candidates who are clinical glaucoma fellowship-trained specialists and are certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology and an unrestricted Tennessee medical license. This position carries a full-time clinician-educator, clinician-investigator, or clinical practice track appointment with a part-time appointment at the adjacent Nashville VA Medical Center. The position is open to matched glaucoma fellows with expected 2025 training completion, glaucoma fellowship graduates, or current practicing glaucoma specialists who have a desire to integrate a patient care practice with a demonstrated commitment to teaching medical students/residents/fellows and/or discovery in a multi-specialty academic setting. The Cullen Eye Institute of Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member to join our Glaucoma Service at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor.  The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and have passionate interest in research or teaching.   Applicants must be board eligible or certified and have completed a formal fellowship in glaucoma.  Primary responsibilities for this position will include clinical, educational, and research duties at the Cullen Eye Institute and affiliated hospitals.  There will be ample teaching and training opportunities with residents, medical students, and clinical glaucoma fellows. Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Ophthalmology, is seeking a BC Ophthalmologist fellowship trained in Glaucoma Surgery to join our full-time group of ophthalmic subspecialties and generalists as the Glaucoma Service Director. Ideal candidates will currently be at the academic rank of Associate Professor or eligible for promotion to Associate Professor level. Responsibilities include patient care, resident teaching and supervision, medical student teaching, coverage and call for subspecialty members, service level meetings, recruitment strategy and other service items. This includes the development and oversight of a Glaucoma fellowship.
 
 
 
We have a very busy group practice with satellite locations in Riverside, Banning, Rancho Cucamonga, and San Bernardino in addition to our main location in Loma Linda. Our group provides professional services at the Riverside University Health System as well, where we have an active resident training program. Our facilities are equipped with the most up to date equipment needed for diagnostic purposes. In the last 12-month period, as a group we had close to 60,000 billed visits.

Compensation & Benefits
 
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $280,000 - $320,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. We are currently searching for accomplished cataract and glaucoma surgeons for the retirements of our most senior glaucoma and cataract specialists based in our Des Moines clinic. Our four current glaucoma subspecialists each annually perform 700-1,600 IOL procedures (avg=1,200+) and approximately150 glaucoma procedures. Our retiring senior cataract surgeon currently performs well over 2,000 IOL procedures annually. Surgical volume for the open positions are expected to be in a similar range.  The MCW Department of Ophthalmology is seeking an academically oriented glaucoma specialist to join the faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.  This is an open-rank, full-time position in a clinician-educator track. 
 
The position’s clinical activity is primarily undertaken at the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute and possibly one or two half-days per week at satellite clinics; however, ophthalmology faculty members also provide clinical coverage at the Children’s Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, and Zablocki Veterans Administration Medical Center, and ample opportunities to teach Ophthalmology residents.  The eye and vision group on campus is a physician led department consisting of 36 physicians, nine optometrists, and five research PhD’s.

New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Glaucoma Specialist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our team of renowned ophthalmologists. Interest in pediatric glaucoma is desirable. As a Glaucoma Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, participating in the education of our residents and fellow trainees and conducting clinical research.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide medical and surgical management for patients with glaucoma and related eye conditions.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients with glaucoma and related ophthalmic disorders.
• Contribute to the academic mission of the institution through participation in teaching activities for residents, fellows, and medical students. Engage in clinical research initiatives aimed at advancing the understanding and treatment of glaucoma.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the delivery of glaucoma care, optimizing clinical workflows, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
 
Qualifications:
• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
• Successful completion of an AUPO-FCC certified glaucoma fellowship
• Eligibility for licensure in the state of New York.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and support staff.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and research.

Midwest Eye Institute is a physician owned all subspecialty private practice group located in Carmel, Indiana (suburb of Indianapolis). We are seeking a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist to join our team. 

The new team member will be one of only four full time glaucoma specialists in central Indiana with a patient draw from Fort Wayne, Richmond, Terre Haute, and Evansville, IN. The new associate will be walking into a well-established practice with a built-in patient base from day one. The new team member will also benefit from being in a brand new office (to be completed in Spring 2025).
